Nidhi Automobiles buys, reconditions and sells four-wheelers from our showroom in Thasikhel, Lalitpur. Our whole business depends on people trusting what we tell them about a car.
Nidhi Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. started in 2013 with a simple observation: most people buying a second-hand vehicle in Nepal are buying blind. They see a polished exterior and take a stranger's word for what is underneath.
We built the business around removing that uncertainty. Every vehicle we take on is inspected across 40 points before we agree to buy it, and anything that fails is either repaired properly or the vehicle is turned away. We would rather lose a deal than sell a problem.
Today we handle buying, selling and exchange for customers across the Kathmandu valley. Most of our business still comes from people who were sent to us by someone we sold to years ago — which is the only marketing that has ever really worked for us.
Four stages, in this order. Cosmetics come last on purpose — a shine hides nothing if the mechanics were done first.
We buy only vehicles with verifiable history and clean documents. Accident-damaged chassis are rejected outright.
A 40-point mechanical and structural check, documented. Anything failing is repaired or the vehicle is rejected.
Genuine parts where it matters — engine, brakes, suspension. Interior and paint are restored last, never first.
Full document transfer, a walkthrough of the work done, and after-sale support you can actually call.
Founder & Managing Director
Santosh Kumar started Nidhi Automobiles in 2013 after more than a decade working in and around the vehicle trade in the Kathmandu valley. He had watched too many buyers hand over their savings for a car nobody had honestly assessed, and decided the business he built would do the opposite.
He still personally inspects a large share of the vehicles that come through the workshop, and he would rather turn a car away than list one he could not stand behind. Customers who buy here tend to come back — and send their families — which he considers the only review that has ever mattered.
A car is the second biggest thing most families ever buy. If we are not honest about what is under the bonnet, we have not earned that money.
The people you will actually deal with when you visit the showroom.
